Javier Milei once again endorsed his sister Karina as the Libertarian electoral leader: "They underestimated her, and she's responding with results."

Javier Milei once again endorsed his sister Karina as the Libertarian electoral leader: "They underestimated her, and she's responding with results."

Javier Milei reiterated his support for Karina Milei's role as electoral coordinator within the La Libertad Avanza party on Tuesday night. He did so following the victory of Manuel Adorni, the presidential spokesperson and candidate for that party, in the Buenos Aires legislative elections last Sunday.

"They've been underestimating me for a long time, too. They've always underestimated Karina, and she responds with results. She has some skills they don't know about or don't want to see," the President said in an interview with LN+.

At the same time, he insisted on recognizing the contribution made by his sister, the current Secretary General of the Presidency, both in her political and personal career.

"I wouldn't have been a deputy or a president, and I'd have been hard-pressed to continue giving lectures, because that's also... let's say, she knew how to negotiate fees," he commented.

The President also admitted that it is his sister, and also the Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, who keeps him grounded when necessary.

"My sister does that work very intensively. I can assure you that my sister does it, and so does Dr. Guillermo Francos. We're constantly assessing risks," he said.

And with Karina watching closely from behind the cameras, he added: "We try to minimize risks. I mean, sometimes we're human too, but we're always mindful of not making those mistakes."

Milei then retraced her steps and referred again to her sister's political aptitude and the work she is doing, primarily in the province of Buenos Aires, with a view to October.

"We are working on a project for the province of Buenos Aires, where basically, you have seen the photos of my sister Karina Milei with Sebastián Pareja, who is the project manager for the province of Buenos Aires, with Lule Menen, with José Luis Espert, who is the president of the Budget and Finance Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, who is from La Libertad Avanza, and with Colo Santilli and Cristian Ritondo," the president listed.

In that sense, he added: "In other words, we have an excellent relationship. They work very well in parliament, and we agree that those of us who defend the ideas of freedom must all stand together. And as we also said the other day, all those who want to embrace the ideas of freedom are welcome here."

Although the program's host, Luis Majul, had announced the interview with the Milei brothers, Karina declined to appear on camera for a statement. At the end of the broadcast, there was only a single shot of her standing next to Lilia Lemoine, a congresswoman and presidential image advisor.

"She's harsh on the media," Javier Milei clarified. And Majul, ultimately, was denied the chance to ask the President's sister a question.
